The Plot of Ancient People of the Andes: The novel begins with the birth of Apu Mayu, a young girl who is destined to become the last empress of the Inca Empire. As she grows up, she witnesses the empire's golden age under her father's rule, but also experiences the decline and eventual collapse of the empire. Throughout the novel, Apu Mayu struggles with her own identity and sense of purpose, as well as the challenges of ruling an empire in a time of great turmoil. The story takes place in the 15th century, during the reign of the Inca emperor Pachacuti, when the empire was at its peak. At this time, the Incas were known for their advanced technology, architecture, and engineering feats, such as the construction of Machu Picchu.
Роман исследует такие темы, как власть, религия, культура и идентичность, а также то, как эти факторы повлияли на развитие и падение империи.
