Walking from East to West - God in the Shadows Ravi Zacharias, one of our generation's great apologists, takes us on a journey through his personal experience of discovering the living God in his latest book, Walking from East to West - God in the Shadows. This book is not just a story of Ravi's life but also a call to action for readers to look at their lives as the greatest argument for the living God. Ravi was born in India and grew up in a Hindu family, but he soon discovered that the pantheism of his culture did not satisfy his deepest longings. He embarked on a journey to find the truth, moving from the East to the West and back again, seeking answers to questions about the existence of God and the nature of truth. Along the way, he encountered skeptics who challenged him with tough questions about the nature of God and the possibility of finding absolutes. Through his journey, Ravi discovered the monotheistic God of Christianity, which replaced his previous beliefs and led him into a relationship with a God that the majority of his people do not worship.
