The American Queen: A Story of Hope, Freedom, and Dignity In 1869, a kingdom rose in the South, and Louella was its queen. Over the twenty-four years she spent enslaved on the Montgomery Plantation, Louella learned to feel one emotion above all others - hate. Hate for the man who sold her mother, hate for the overseer who left her father to hang from a noose, and hate so powerful that there was no room in her heart for love, not even for the honorable Reverend William, whom she liked and respected enough to marry. But when William finally listened to Louella's pleas and led the formerly enslaved people out of their plantation, Louella began to replace her hate with hope. Hope that they would find a place where they could live free from fear, hope that despite her many unanswered prayers, she could learn to trust in new miracles. Soon, William and Louella became the appointed king and queen of their self-proclaimed Kingdom of the Happy Land. And though they were still surrounded by opposition, they continued to share a message of joy and goodness, fighting for the freedom and dignity of all.
The American Queen: A Story of Hope, Freedom, and Dignity

The American Queen: A Story of Hope, Freedom, and Dignity (Amerikan Kraliçesi: Bir Umut, Özgürlük ve Haysiyet Hikayesi) 1869 yılında güneyde bir krallık kuruldu ve Louella onun kraliçesiydi.
