Latin American Novels of the Conquest: Reinventing the New World Volume 1 As the quincentenary of Christopher Columbus's first voyage approached, Latin American authors felt compelled to write novels reimagining the conquest, hoping to publish them in the years surrounding 1992. However, surprisingly few of these novels attempted to reconstruct the indigenous perspective on this historical moment, instead focusing on representing the European conquerors from a new angle.
Latin American Novels of the Conquest: Reinventing the New World Volume

Latin American Novels of the Conquest: Reinventing the New World Volume 1 Kiedy zbliżali się do czasu pierwszej podróży Christophera Columbusa, latynoamerykańscy autorzy czuli się zmuszeni do pisania powieści, które ponownie wyobrażały sobie podbój, mając nadzieję na ich opublikowanie w latach poprzedzających 1992.
Latin American Novels of the Conquest: Reventing the New World Volume
Latin American Novels of the Conquest: Reinventing the New World Volume
