Fed White and Blue: Finding America with My Fork As I embarked on my journey to become an American, I never imagined that food would be the key to unlocking the mysteries of this vast and diverse nation. Born and raised in India, I had always associated America with technology, innovation, and progress – not with the rich culinary heritage that has shaped its history and culture. But as I set out to discover what it truly means to be an American, I found myself on a quest for knowledge, one that led me to the kitchens, farms, and markets of this great country. My journey began in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where I sought to learn about the humble beginnings of the Pilgrims and their struggles to survive in a new land. I participated in a Wampanoag football game, which taught me the importance of community and cooperation in the face of adversity. The experience left me with a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit and the power of sports to bring people together. Next, I traveled to Kansas for a Shabbat dinner, where I experienced the warmth and hospitality of the Jewish community.
Fed White and Blue: Finding America with My Fork

Fed White and Blue: Finding America with My Fork
